The Rapid Asset Deployment (RAD) organization is growing globally to improve our responsiveness to our customers.

OpsTech Solutions manages IT infrastructure and end user equipment deployed across Amazon network globally. We are looking for an Operations Engineer with a strong focus on Quality Engineering who will work closely with engineering operations and. the customer to improve the quality of processes and our service.

They will be responsible for monitoring reporting and investigating customer complaints and operational process health. They will be the owner of all operational quality engineering taking full ownership of process issues identify root cause and develop corrective actions.



Key job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PFMEA and control plans throughout the life cycle of a process. Use PFMEA to identify potential failures their effects and implement preventive actions.

- Own disposition of defective equipment by developing metrics and maintain a quarantine cage.

- Drive the resolution of issues identified.

- Manage the process/product quality audit program. Document audit findings and ensure proper corrective actions are taken.

- Define and own the quality metrics reported daily to the leadership team. Ensure the metrics are accurate relevant and drive continuous improvement.

- Perform root cause analysis on customer issues provide effective corrective actions and drive them to completion.

- Manage change management requests and obtain approvals from appropriate stakeholders.

- Serve as the primary quality contact on the production floor. Communicate relevant quality-related details at the start and end of each shift.

- Assist in and facilitate process improvement initiatives providing subject matter expertise and support.

- Assist in the roll-out of new processes and equipment by performing quality inspections and trial runs.

- Own and develop standard policies and procedures for processes within operations. Ensure SOPs are up-to-date and followed consistently.

- 4 years of industrial engineer operations engineer manufacturing engineer or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
- Bachelors degree

- Experience working with and managing third party vendors
- Experience with Six Sigma lean manufacturing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $68900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $126400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
