We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team. Youll have a solid background in data engineering and preferably hands-on expertise with Microsoft the role youll design build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure working with SQL Python and PySpark to deliver clean and reliable data for analytics tools such as Power BI.

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team. Youll have a solid background in data engineering and preferably hands-on expertise with Microsoft the role youll design build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure working with SQL Python and PySpark to deliver clean and reliable data for analytics tools such as Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture & Management
- Design and implement enterprise-grade data storage solutions leveraging Azure SQL Database Azure Data Lake Storage Blob Storage Azure Synapse Analytics OneLake Lakehouse Fabric Data Warehouse Delta Lake.
- Ensure scalability security and cost optimization across all data platforms.
- Data Integration & ETL Development
- Build and maintain complex ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory Microsoft Fabric pipelines SSIS or similar.
- Integrate data from diverse sources ensuring data quality and consistency for downstream analytics.
- Big Data Processing & Analytics Enablement
- Develop and optimize data processing frameworks using Apache Spark PySpark and Microsoft Fabric capabilities.
- Enable advanced analytics and machine learning workloads through well-structured data pipelines.
- Solution Delivery & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to large-scale architectural migrations and modernization initiatives within an Agile environment.
- Monitor troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability
- Document data models workflows and engineering processes for transparency and maintainability.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Bachelors degree in computer science data engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in building Fabric or Azure based data and analytics platforms.
- Strong proficiency in:
- Microsoft Fabric (experience or certification preferred).
- Azure services: Data Factory Synapse Analytics Data Lake SQL Database.
- Programming: Python PySpark - Strong expertise
- ETL tools and data modeling concepts.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing data governance and cloud migration strategies.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies DevOps and tools like Jira Confluence.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- MS Fabric experience and or certification (DP600 / DP700)
- Familiarity with Finance / Investment industry data domains
- Experience with SAFe Agile framework.
