Job Summary

Job Purpose:

The post holder will manage and co-ordinate the Rare Eye Disease Registry (MMUH/Spark) within Ophthalmology ensuring all data / information is captured and that it supports the clinical needs of patients with Rare Eye Disease and is consistent with the mission vision and strategic plan of the service. The post holder must possess attention to detail work towards targets and objectives and possess significant data management and analytical knowledge.

While the post holder will be allocated to a specific speciality they will be required to develop an understanding of the other data mangers roles in order to provide support and cover for leave particular to work with the European Reference Network for Rare Eye Disease (ERN EYE) Rare Eye Disease Registry (REDgistry) Data Manager.
