What will you be doing

You will be responsible for the development execution and evaluation of strategic communication initiatives that span media relations communications and content development both internally and externally.

Responsibilities and duties in this role will include:

  • Lead the development and execution of a cohesive communications strategy to promote alignment connection and cultural consistency.
  • Serve as the key custodian of Asurias voice and tone ensuring all internal and external messaging reflects our brand identity and Enterprising Heart values.
  • Partner closely with the People & Culture team and Office of the CEO to deliver communication initiatives.
  • Source write and develop compelling stories that reflect the impact of Asurias work.
  • Develop and manage internal communication campaigns and channels (e.g. newsletters intranet MS Teams town halls).
  • Work with the CEO and Executive team on internal and external speeches communications and key strategic messaging.

Who are you

Skills and experience we are looking for include:

  • Minimum 34 years in journalism PR agency or in-house communications roles.
  • Strong understanding of integrated PR and communications strategy (including crisis management)
  • Knowledge of digital social media strategy analytics and optimisation.
  • Familiarity with media monitoring distribution tools and communications platforms.
  • Exceptional storytelling and writing skills across multiple formats.

A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.
