Job Summary

Reports To:Site Coordinator and Program Manager

Primary Location: Grand Valley Middle School Orwell

Salary:Part-timeas scheduled(2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.) $15.00 / Hour (Classified)

Job Overview

The Activity Leader is responsible for supporting the Site Coordinator in the development and implementation of the after-school and summer enrichment programs and services. This position assists the Site Coordinator during day-to-day operations by conducting program activities and providing assistance to students as needed.

Required Qualifications

Successful completion of BCII/FBI background checks
Ability to work flexible hours (e.g. evenings and weekends)

Responsibilities and Duties

Assists Site Coordinator to secure necessary resources for unique and engaging enrichment opportunities.
Attends necessary training and professional development surrounding the program.
Assists Site Coordinator in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for grant reporting.
Builds and maintains positive relationships with students families school personnel and other individuals or organizations involved in the program.
Follows the evaluation plan and follows the timeline and tasks as outlined.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Superintendent.

Desired Skills and Abilities

Excellent organizational and independent working skills.
Proficient to advanced computer skill level. Knowledge of or ability to master utilization of all necessary computer programs (including MS Office applications Google Suite and Internet research).
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Enthusiasm for community education and commitment to youth development and services.
