We are currently seeking a warm welcoming and confident Host to join our Birnam restaurant team.

The on target earning potential for this role is 31896 / per annum based on a 39 hour contract - comprising a base salary of 24396 plus a qualified estimate of 8300 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks benefits and rewards

• Youll be the warm welcoming presence at the heart of The Birnam creating genuine connections with our members and guests alike
• Welcoming and seating our guests with genuine warmth charm and attentiveness ensuring every arrival feels special
• Overseeing our seating chart and waiting list with confidence and precision communicating seamlessly with your Birnam colleagues to deliver a smooth and effortless service
• Taking immense pride in every task you complete playing an essential role within the Birnam team to ensure each service is flawlessly prepared and beautifully executed
• Responding to guest enquiries with care empathy and professionalism always seeking the most positive outcome and leaving a lasting impression
• Playing a key part in upholding the highest standards of presentation and preparation across the restaurant maintaining an atmosphere of understated elegance throughout each service
• Contributing to the seamless flow of the operation supporting your team to ensure every service runs effortlessly and exceeds expectations.
• Possessing an excellent knowledge of our estate confidently sharing insights about our restaurants bars and experiences to enhance our guests stay
• Interacting with our guests always warm professional helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

• Experience within a luxury hospitality environment would be an advantage though above all its your positive attitude professionalism and passion for exceptional service that truly matter.
• You approach every guest interaction with fresh energy and care understanding that while you may have answered a question many times for each guest its their first
• Flexibility is second nature to you and youre comfortable working across both lunch and dinner service throughout the week and weekends
• Meticulous and organised you take pride in exceeding guest expectations and have a sharp eye for every detail that elevates the dining experience
• Ambitious and eager to grow you take inspiration from the experts around you while sharing your own knowledge and experience with the team
• Resilient and composed under pressure you thrive in a fast-paced high-performing environment
• Naturally warm and sociable you build genuine rapport with both guests and colleagues creating a sense of ease and belonging throughout every service
