Job Description
Role:
We are seeking an experiencedTechnical Leadwith over 7 years of expertise in managing time-sensitive multi-stakeholder projects specifically within thehealth plan data domain(Enrollments Claims Payments). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation inSQL (Oracle MS SQL)andcloud technologies (AWS/GCP preferred). This is ahands-on leadership role responsible for guiding a team of engineers resolving critical data issues and ensuring smooth project execution with high impact on business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Project Execution
Lead the end-to-end execution of complex data integration and analytics solutions including design development testing and deployment.
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-priority business-critical projects.
Provide technical direction enforce coding standards and ensure performance tuning and data management best practices.
Lead resolution ofSev1/Sev2incidents and drive root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with architects and business teams to evaluate system requirements and design scalable robust solutions.
Database Development & Optimization
Write optimize and maintain complexSQL queriesacrossOracleandMS SQL Serverenvironments.
Develop stored procedures triggers and scripts to support data operations and analytics needs.
Troubleshoot data mapping/translation issues across source-target pipelines.
Cloud & Infrastructure Management
Design and support scalable solutions incloud environmentssuch asAWSorGCP.
Work closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to manage performance cost and security.
Implement best practices for cloud-based data storage compute and data processing services.
Team & Stakeholder Management
Manage and mentor a team of7 engineers including performance reviews skill development and team building.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business users analysts and data engineers to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
Create and maintaintechnical documentation architecture diagrams and knowledge repositories.
Lead stakeholder communication through reports presentations and technical demos usingExcelPowerPoint and visualization tools.
Process Improvement & Automation
Developscriptsto automate routine data processes and reduce manual overhead.
Identify opportunities forcost savingsefficiency andscalabilityin data workflows.
Continuously improve development and operational processes through innovation and tooling.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
7 yearsof experience in delivering time-critical cross-functional data projects.
3 yearsof experience in aTechnical Leadrole including project ownership and team mentorship.
5 yearsof hands-on experience working withhealth plan data includingenrollments claims and payments.
Proven experience leading teams of7 or more engineers.
Expertise inSQL(Oracle MS SQL) with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
Experience withSev1/Sev2 incident handlingand real-time troubleshooting.
Proficiency inscripting(e.g. Shell Python) for automation and debugging.
Strong skills inExcelPowerPoint and delivering impactful stakeholder presentations.
Exposure tocloud platforms(AWS or GCP) in a data engineering or infrastructure role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards in healthcare (e.g. HIPAA).
Experience with data integration tools (e.g. Informatica Talend Apache Nifi).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g. Jira Confluence).
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
