The American Heart Association is hiring a Region Development Reporting Director for our Eastern States Region. The Reporting Director provides regional reporting for core fundraising campaigns. This position is located within the Eastern States Region and the work location can be a home office-based. This is a full-time exempt position.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for managing the annual campaign cycle including goal-setting/evaluation preparation metric tracking ongoing status/trends updates to segmented audiences Gap Meeting agendas and summary data documentation preparation and execution.

Development Operations

  • Management and collaboration with CDO for ES Event Set-up
  • National Engagement Center Liaison/Field Submission Manager
  • Primary Manager of ES Development Calendar and inbox
  • Bi-weekly Audits of Event Dates/Details for date goal and revenue stream breakdown changes and staff hierarchy assignments
  • CDO Liaison for website build forms/requests tracking event cancellations/changes event relationship requests etc.
  • Regional Development Project Management Support

Development Training

  • New Staff Onboarding primary process manager and ES Development Training participation tracking
  • New Hire integration into existing Trainings Huddles and appropriate Coaching Calls
  • Boot Camp Registration Process Management

Data Visualization and Progress Measurement

  • Builds Fiscal and Campaign Goalsetting Forecasting and Results Tracking Templates with some regular updating of info
  • Development Priorities Campaign Revenue and KPI tracking
  • Benchmarking Leaderboard and Ranking reports
  • Blitz Trackers and support

Custom Reports and Research

  • AEVP/EVP Campaign Snapshot Data Chart builds and initial formatting
  • ED Campaign Management Pro Tools for Gapping and Projecting (refresh/revamp of older versions)
  • National Matching Gifts monthly reconciliation NCCR review and missing revenue research
  • RMT/SMT Gap Template build data load data refresh
  • Plus other special projects that arise

Qualifications

  • University/College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in administrative work project coordination and/or event management systems with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in event planning organizing consultation and event management preferred.Proficient in using web conferencing software (Zoom Microsoft Teams etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently while consistently following best practices of the Association.
  • Must have intermediate skills in PowerPoint Word and Excel. Advanced knowledge and skill with these programs is preferred. These skills are subject to testing.
  • Ability to objectively evaluate make effective decisions and develop alternative solutions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact with all levels of American Heart Association staff volunteers and the public. This includes the ability and willingness to build and cultivate relationships within and outside the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to be diplomatic self-motivated resourceful considerate and tactful.
  • Willingness to work in an atmosphere requiring flexibility and change.Validated ability to respond quickly to changing ideas responsibilities expectations strategies and other processes at work.
  • Knowledge of and skill in report preparation proofreading and attention to detail.
  • Requires access to reliable transportation at all times on an immediate basis.
  • Must pass a background check and must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications not mandatory to qualify:

  • Strong skills using Salesforce Greater Giving Luminate E1 and learning new technology.
  • Experience using Tableau reports and advanced Excel skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint and Teams.
  • Experience with vendor negotiation and contract review.
  • Ability to do periodic local travel up to 20%; requires access to reliable transportation at all times on an immediate basis

Compensation & Benefits

The expected pay will be $75000 annually. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials may apply to the pay range. American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
