Job Summary

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (Chicago CT)
Break: 1-hour unpaid break
Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours


Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audits budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Conduct accounts receivable (AR) reconciliations and perform age analysis reviews to monitor outstanding balances and ensure timely collections.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls using FIRM Methods to safeguard the companys records and ensure readiness and compliance in the event of an IRS audit.
  • Maintain accurate financial transactions
  • Manage and track expenses and revenue
  • Manage tax compliance including preparation and submission of taxes and related filings.
  • Oversee payroll administration ensuring timely and compliant processing of compensation.
  • Perform account reconciliations in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Zoho to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements and tax filings using live data integrated through FIRM Methods ensuring accuracy compliance and timeliness in financial reporting.
  • Support the procure-to-pay (P2P) process including payment processing purchase order tracking and vendor management.

Requirements:

  • ACCA (Inter) CMA (Inter) MBA or equivalent qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in accounting
  • Experience working with U.S. clients is an advantage
  • Experience with US GAAP or IFRS is a plus
  • Proficient in Google Workspace
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word)
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Zoho
  • Must have excellent English communication
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel proficiency
  • Must have Full-cycle accounting experience with a focus on reconciliations and financial statement preparation
