Job Summary
We are seeking a Virtual Design & Construction (BIM/VDC) Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys combining technology and construction thrives in a collaborative environment and is excited to work on large complex projects in both public and private sectors.
As the VDC Coordinator you will play a key role in bringing projects to life digitally before theyre built from 3D modeling and BIM coordination to supporting field teams with layout and constructability solutions.
Duties:
- Develop and manage virtual 3D models and 2D layouts.
- Create 3D and 4D models using Revit and Plant3D.
- Run BIM coordination meetings track clashes and resolve issues with subcontractors using Autodesk Construction Cloud and Navisworks.
- Perform 3D laser scanning for on-site coordination.
- Translate 2D drawings into accurate 3D models for field use and QA.
- Produce 3D logistics plans and animations for preconstruction/site planning.
- Maintain BIM standards templates and software tools across the company.
- Support drone photogrammetry and drone surveys.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering Construction Management or related field OR equivalent experience.
- 4 years of VDC/BIM experience in industrial and commercial construction.
- Proficiency with Revit and Navisworks is a must.
- Ability to create and manage 3D/4D models.
- Part 107 Drone License (or ability to obtain).
