About the role Mō te tūranga mahi

As an Advisor (Organisational Design) youll work as part of a supportive team to successfully deliver organisational change initiatives. This is a hands-on role that will work as a trusted advisor throughout the whole organisational change process ensuring a consistent people experience.

Youll be working on a variety of specialist tasks including:

  • Working as part of the Organisational Design team to engage with leaders across the organisation on their design and implementation of organisational changes.
  • Developing supporting information for organisational change consultations.
  • Managing the feedback process and analysing summarising and presenting feedback.
  • Working with people data / changes to data.
  • Managing requests from the business for information and providing advice and support in response to these.

This is a fixed term role through to June 2026. Wellington is the preferred location.

About you Mōu

You may come from a generalist HR background and be looking for an opportunity to specialise. Youll understand or can demonstrate an ability to quickly learn the organisational design process and methodology. Well be looking for:

  • Practical organisational change knowledge or experience.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the legislative and regulatory environments governing organisational design and delivery activities.
  • A track record of successfully delivering to tight timelines and a proven ability to manage different timelines at the same time.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building and networking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A flexible proactive and positive approach to your work.
  • An eye for detail analytical skills and a commitment to operating collaboratively as part of a high performing team.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred but not essential.

The base salary range for this role is $101287 - $142993 with appointment depending on skills and experience with a generous 9% superannuation contribution.
