About the Role
As a Commercial Finance Analyst youll support the Commercial portfolio by delivering financial insights reporting and forecasting that drive strategic decisions. Youll work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial outcomes.
What Youll Do
Analyse and report on P&L performance across the Commercial portfolio to support strategic decision-making.
Deliver month-end and quarter-end processes including estimates journals and variance analysis.
Collaborate with system accounting and portfolio teams to streamline budget and forecast cycles.
Own OPEX and FTE reporting ensuring accuracy in expense allocations and driver updates.
Contribute to key reporting packs including CFO reports investor presentations and flash reports.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide ad hoc analysis as needed.
What Youll Bring
A business degree (mandatory) with CA or CPA qualifications completed or in progress (desired).
Experience in financial services across complex multi-disciplinary environments.
Strong understanding of insurance revenue drivers and reinsurance premiums.
Proficiency in financial systems such as TM1 and Oracle with ability to interpret product system data.
Attention to detail and ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly.
Collaborative mindset and ability to build relationships across finance and business teams.
