Can you lead a team in developing top-notch assays and solving complex scientific challenges Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is on the lookout for a motivated and accomplished Manager Research & Development to join our outstanding team. A Day in the Life

• Lead and develop a team passionate about assay development and post-transplant monitoring.
• Coordinate antibody/antigen and cell-based assays ensuring detailed assay verification and validation.
• Troubleshoot current assays or products to improve performance and resolve customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver new products or processes.
• Work closely with quality representatives and manufacturing scientists to improve new product development.

Keys to Success

Education

• Masters in Biochemistry Molecular Biology Immunology or related discipline and 3 years of relevant experience OR PhD and 1 year of relevant experience

Experience

• Strong leadership with minimum 4 years team management experience.
• Shown experience in assay development validation and troubleshooting.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work closely within deadlines and efficiently implement research projects.

Compensation and Benefits
