Responsibilities

The Oracle ERP Technical Specialist will provide support and related implementations including working with cross functional teams and providing project support. This position will be involved in developing and maintaining system integrations reports and formulas within Oracle ERP Cloud. Provide technical support for modules Oracle AP AR GL Expenses CM and FA.

  • Provide technical support on projects and initiatives involving Oracle Cloud ERP Financial modules such as GL AP AR Expenses CM and FA.
  • Develop use and test cases to test the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP and participate in the execution of such test cases.
  • Provide support to the testing team and end users during the various test cycles; remediate and/or dispose of test case failures or anomalies.
  • Support the project execution methodology report on project progress and aggressively identify and manage issues to closure.
  • Participate in Cloud upgrade releases and new projects involving strategy implementation and support.
  • Aid in key system processes (i.e. process of month-end quarter-end and year-end close processes) as needed
  • Assist with functional testing of monthly quarterly and emergency patches.
  • Coordinating with the groups of business users who test validate and evaluate new applications and functions to determine issues in services and software.
  • Excellent Analytical Skills with a proven approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
  • Be familiar with the agile methodology and participate in agile sessions as needed.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels.
  • Be comfortable working in an atmosphere of continual learning and process improvement.
  • Build leverage and maintain effective relationships across technical and business community.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Oracle ERP Financials
  • At least 1 year of experience in implementing or supporting Oracle ERP Cloud (Fusion Financials).
  • Knowledge of technologies languages and architectures like Functional Setup Manager (FSM) Application Development Framework Data Integration (ADFDI) File Based Data Import (FBDI) Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) Report development Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) Software as a Service / Platform as a Service (SaaS and PaaS) Smart View / and Fusion Reporting Studio (FRS).
  • Excellent verbal written and relationship skills used to interact with a global group of technical and non-technical people.
  • Work closely with other IT teams including Information Security Application Development IT Support and 3rd party vendors to plan deploy and maintain a highly performant environment.
  • Logical thought process when architecting technical solutions for customers.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and in a team-oriented collaborative environment is essential.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks work under a small or large team spanning across multiple business unit/practice areas.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and work them through to the root cause.
  • Ability to lead tasks and prepare a variety of technical and user-oriented reports or manuals.
  • Strong customer service and orientation in execution.
  • Work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.
  • Work for an extended time at keyboard/terminal.

Education/Certification:

  • BA/BS in a related information technology program or an AA/AS degree / High school diploma along with equivalent experience in an information technology role.
