Now were looking for a talented Project Accountant or Senior Project Accountant to join our growing team in Fishers Indiana.
This is an in-office role based in our Fishers location. Remote work is not available.
What Youll Do
Whether youre stepping into a Project Accountant role or bringing senior-level expertise youll be a key player in keeping our projects financially sound and on track. Youll work closely with project managers executives and external partners to ensure accuracy transparency and timeliness in every financial detail.
As a Project Accountant youll:
- Support assigned construction projects with accurate billing payables and cost tracking
- Collaborate with project teams to meet financial deadlines and reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and project documentation
As a Senior Project Accountant youll also:
- Lead complex projects
- Mentor other accountants and balance workloads across the team
- Represent Accounting in cross-departmental process improvements
What Were Looking For
Were hiring at two levels so whether youre early in your project accounting journey or a seasoned pro we want to hear from you.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma required; degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 7 years of experience including 3 in project accounting (internships count!)
- Strong organizational problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with construction accounting principles and AIA billing forms
- Experience with CMiC and Procore (or willingness to learn)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Adobe/Bluebeam and PDF editing tools
Senior-level candidates should also bring:
- Experience managing complex project portfolios
- Ability to lead mentor and drive process improvements across teams
