About the role

We are looking for an Operation Analyst to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

We are seeking an Operations Analyst to join the Retail Products team at Elders in Adelaide. This role provides essential support in pricing analysis operational processes and data reporting helping to drive margin growth and informed decision-making. Youll work closely with the Senior Pricing & Operations Analyst to deliver actionable insights develop pricing strategies and optimise operational efficiency across ERS product lines.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate margin analysis and pricing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Build and maintain reporting tools dashboards and business models to optimise sales forecasting and purchasing.
  • Monitor margin performance and coordinate seasonal margin management reviews.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends exceptions and opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with Retail Operations network teams and management to align operational and pricing objectives.
  • Support system integration and development projects to streamline business processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all workplace health safety and corporate policies.

About you

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven problem-solving ability and experience managing complex business data.
  • Highly organised and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL Microsoft Power BI/Power Pivot Excel and MS Access (VBA desirable).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Snowflake is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with agribusiness merchandise categories supply chain and inventory management is preferred.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business Commerce Supply Chain or a related field with 3 years relevant experience.
