Administrative Assistant II in the Graduate School of the Research Services of the Registry (Ref.: 533609) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary and with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have a good Bachelors degree with at least 5 years work experience in administration preferably in tertiary education institutions or other public organisations. The appointee should also be self-motivated and be able to work independently. An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese good problem-solving and interpersonal skills and attentiveness to details are essential qualities.
The appointee will be providing support to research postgraduate programmes in different aspects to meet the objectives and mission of the University on research postgraduate education. He/She is expected to work closely with the Dean and/or Associate Deans to implement on-going schemes and new initiatives promote research postgraduate programmes serve as secretary of committees/boards and perform other administrative duties. Experiences in research postgraduate programme administration event management promotion and publicity and development of IT systems would be an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
