Are you a motivated student working towards a degree in Business Finance or Law Are you eager to gain hands-on experience in contract management within a dynamic and supportive team Were looking for a proactive and detail-oriented intern to join our Contract Management department.
To apply you must currently be enrolled in an educational program and seeking a 12-month placement opportunity.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Attend training sessions to learn the drug development process and how clinical research is planned conducted and reported
Familiarize yourself with the various tools and processes that the clinical contract management team utilizes to develop/update the budgets and contracts for clinical studies
Use of (SFDC) for status reporting and tracking purposes: perform timely and accurate data entry as directed
Supporting local team members to ensure compliance with SFDC (reviewing reports and following up with team members where needed)
Shadow the drafting of contractual documents (Start-up Agreements Clinical Services Agreements Change Orders)
Assignment to simple budgeting activities
Assignment to simple contracting activities
Engage and learn with the senior team members by shadowing them in their daily activities and learn the strategy behind the operations of clinical research to enhance your knowledge and skills into this exciting domain
Support the team with special projects and process improvements
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
Currently pursuing a degree in Business Law or Finance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team-oriented environment.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.
Occasional drives to site locations with occasional travel both domestic and international.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day.
Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast simple repeated movements of the fingers hands and wrists.
Occasional crouching stooping with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck.
Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.
Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.
Regular and consistent attendance.
Varied hours may be required.
