Commissioning & Contracts Lead (2 x 12 month fixed-term contracts)

We are recruiting two Commissioning and Contract Leads with relevant experience to join our Commissioning Contracts and Quality Team for a 12-month period.
These roles have been approved by the Council as a must-have invest-to-save initiative designed to strengthen our interface with the NHS Integrated Care Board and deliver improved outcomes for people with complex health and social care needs.
About the Role:
The post holders will work as part of the Commissioning and Contracts Team who play a pivotal role in managing the full commissioning cycle working collaboratively with providers partners and internal teams to ensure services are person-centred sustainable and deliver best value. This is a unique opportunity to influence integrated commissioning arrangements including Continuing Healthcare All-Age Continuing Care and joint-funded provisions such as section 117 responsibilities.
The role will involve working collaboratively with multiple partners internal and external to the Council such as NHS Partners Public Health Housing Legal Procurement and the Integrated Commissioning Board (ICB).
