The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Spring 2026 to teach Lecture section of EE 430: Integrated Circuits and VLSI Design. The course description is below:

Course Description

Design and analysis of single-stage multi-stage and differential integrated circuit amplifiers feedback circuits operational amplifiers filters oscillators output stages and power amplifiers. Digital circuit design at the transistor level.

Minimum qualifications:

  • A bachelors degree in electrical engineering
  • 10 years related experience
  • Experience teaching at the college level for at least one semester
  • Per the California State Universitys Out-of-State Employment Policy the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California. Working in the State of California is a condition of employment

Preferred qualifications:

  • A doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience teaching upper-division college courses
  • Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated commitment to diversity inclusivity and/or intercultural competence with diverse groups in relation to teaching.

Salary commensurate with degree level and experience

  • AnticipatedHiring Salary Range: $5507 - $6008 per full-time month

The salary schedule information for the Lecturer - Academic Year Classification is available based on the following ranges:

  • CSU Classification Salary RangeLecturer A - AY: $5507 - $6677 per full-time month

The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range commensurate with education and experience.
