REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Psychiatric evaluations and treatment planning

Medication management

Inpatient psychiatric stabilization

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Connecticut medical license

Board: Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

DEA: As required by facility

Certifications: As required by facility

Experience: Inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry experience required

Other Qualifications: Willingness to provide outpatient care if needed

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide inpatient psychiatric care for child and adolescent patients

Manage daily caseload including admissions and discharges

Complete a minimum of two discharges per day when clinically appropriate

Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
