About the program:
The Production & Supply Development Program (PSDP) is a rotation-based program providing opportunities that expose associates to diverse experiences with a total program commitment within three calendar years and a geographical move as required. Locations are at any of the Crop Protection (CP) Production and Supply (P&S) sites within the United States Greensboro NC; Omaha NE; St. Gabriel LA.
This position has a start date of June 2026. Applications are only open to students graduating between December 2025 and May 2026.
Role Purpose
The focus of the program is to establish a pool of highly motivated and well-rounded talent within the organization. As a PSDP Associate you acquire business knowledge skills and attributes required for placement into future positions within P&S at Syngenta. The learning and development will be at an accelerated pace with the expectation to perform at levels above your peers.

What will you be doing
There are multiple options to gain exposure to various areas of P&S that will help you develop your career path in a way that meets your individual needs. In addition to the individual technical knowledge gained cross-functional leadership training coaching and mentoring will be provided.
Your assignments will support various chemical engineering functions throughout the organization including:
- Process Technology Development
- Process Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Project Management
- Production Start-ups
- Formulation Development
- Health Safety and Environment
Qualifications :
What you must have:
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering with an emphasis in Chemical Synthesis or Formulation Fill and Pack
- Prior Internship or Co-op experience in a manufacturing site
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Willingness to relocate as needed to pursue rotational opportunities
- Valid drivers license
- Position requires being able to walk our production sites in any weather including hot and humid cold and wet conditions
Skills helpful for success:
- Process design and optimization - understanding and improving chemical processes for efficiency and effectiveness
- Chemical process modeling and simulation - using software tools to predict and analyze process behavior
- Data analysis and statistical methods - interpreting large datasets to make informed decisions
- Risk assessment and safety management - identifying potential hazards and implementing safety measures
- Equipment design and troubleshooting - selecting sizing and maintaining process equipment
- Experimental design and laboratory techniques - planning and conducting experiments to develop new products or processes
