Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps/Support Engineer to join our Nearshore Sector team in Lisboa this role you will be responsible for managing our infrastructure streamlining development processes and providing crucial support to ensure smooth operations across our nearshore development projects.
- Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP
- Implement and maintain containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Write and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency
- Set up and manage monitoring and logging systems to ensure optimal performance and quick issue resolution
- Collaborate with development teams to improve code quality and deployment processes
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues
- Implement and maintain security best practices across the infrastructure
- Stay updated with the latest DevOps trends and technologies recommending improvements to our processes
- Work effectively within a nearshore development model addressing unique challenges and opportunities
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- 3 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and principles
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and their associated services
- Experience with containerization technologies particularly Docker and Kubernetes
- Expertise in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Strong scripting skills in languages like Python and Bash
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus ELK stack)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
- Experience working in or with nearshore development teams
- Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus
- Authorization to work in Portugal or the European Union
- Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones
