Job Summary
Design develop and maintain Android applications and internal libraries following Clean Architecture principles.
Build modern user interfaces using Jetpack Compose ensuring alignment with defined acceptance criteria.
Publish and manage Android libraries and projects in Nexus or locally for internal consumption.
Integrate Android applications with backend services using Retrofit and OkHttp based on technical documentation (Swagger Confluence).
Implement local data persistence and caching using Room ensuring offline access to critical data.
Use Kotlin Flow to emit and collect reactive data streams from APIs and local databases.
Manage asynchronous operations with Kotlin Coroutines ensuring high performance and responsive applications.
Implement dependency injection using Hilt in multi-module Android projects.
Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit and Mockito following TDD best practices where applicable.
Actively participate in code reviews contributing to code quality consistency and knowledge sharing.
Perform bug fixing code refactoring and produce clear concise technical documentation.
Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team environment contributing to continuous improvement.
Qualifications :
Strong professional experience in Android development using Kotlin.
Solid understanding of Clean Architecture MVVM and modular Android projects.
Proven experience integrating REST APIs and managing local data persistence.
Strong knowledge of unit testing testing strategies and test-driven development (TDD).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins) and version control tools (Git Gerrit).
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within agile teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality and maintainability.
Fluency in technical English (documentation tools and team communication).
