Were looking for an experienced Senior Analytics Manager to lead our Regional Platform Squad.
Regional Platform builds the platforms and frameworks that empower Wise engineers to seamlessly integrate Wise with payment systems across the globe. Youll play a key role in expanding our reach and improving the experience for millions of customers worldwide!
Youll report to the Analytics Director for the Regional Expansion tribe and partner with the Product and Engineering leads in the Regional Platform Squad. Together you will form a cross-functional group of key decision makers who own the challenge of making the process of Regional Expansion as seamless as a config change.
This role involves a 60/40 split between leading a team (3) of talented analysts embedded within multiple product teams and providing hands-on analytical support; setting the right KPIs providing data driven insights to inform product decisions and surfacing opportunities to further improve our products.

WHAT YOULL DO
Partner with cross-functional (Product Engineering etc.) leads to define the strategy for the Regional Platform squad. Identify opportunities for impact and bring them to life; review team plans and progress giving them effective feedback.
Establish clear goals define measurable KPIs and develop compelling narratives to communicate progress and proactively identify areas requiring action both within and beyond the Regional Platform squad. This includes synthesizing data from various teams to provide a comprehensive view.
Lead and develop a team of analysts. Support analyst professional development via performance feedback & coaching; hire and plan capacity; ensure analyst time is spent to maximise impact; increase scalability via automation.
Take ownership of complex cross-team projects to help unblock critical product decisions this could range from:
Helping the team build granular data infrastructure sound payment processing to identify opportunities to deliver a more instant service to customers
Establishing Squad KPIs to focus the teams investment on the most impactful projects to drive expansion speed
Analysing SWIFT network data to optimise our offering in terms of price speed and coverage
Qualifications :
WHAT YOULL BRING
Technical Skills: 7 years experience in analytical roles with strong data analysis skills (SQL & Python) data modelling (e.g. airflow dbt) and experience with BI tools (e.g. Looker Tableau PowerBI).
Team Management: You have experience building developing and leading analysts (ideally a team of 5). Performing detailed performance reviews providing constructive feedback to identify and nurture strengths and address development areas.
Ownership: You enjoy working independently in a fast-paced environment: Identifying impactful opportunities and making them happen triage requests by impact and you know when and how to adapt analysis scope to achieve 80/20 results.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communicator - you cut through the noise communicating what matters in a way that people get it. Youre an expert at crafting dashboards and visualisations that bring data to life tell a story and have diagnostic power.
Influence: Strong stakeholder management skills - you are collaborative you know how to influence and when to say yes or no to maximise impact. You have a bias to action - you identify what needs to be done and make it happen.
NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
- Youve practically used applied AI / machine learning techniques and built predictive models to get deeper insight
