Job Summary

Summary

Responsible for hands-on training of Study Coordinator staff assists in triaging day-to-day workload ensures complex regulatory areas are properly handled and responsible for financial activities for assigned study protocols. Serves as a resource to Principal Investigators Grants Administration and Departments across the Hospital.

Essential Functions
-Coordinate the development of investigator-initiated and industry sponsored project documents and timelines and manage any changes including future timeline changes that may result from changes in scope delays in schedule or resource constraints.
-Is responsible for all regulatory maintenance for assigned clinical research and trial projects including IRB submissions biosafety committee submissions FDA submissions and reporting funding agency reporting record maintenance and other related tasks on assigned projects.
-Monitors and manages sub-sites on multi-center clinical research projects including facilitating regular sub-site status meetings overseeing sub-site data collection and quality and collecting sub-site regulatory documentation and ensuring compliance.
-Coordinates all project and deliverable planning meetings.
-Prepare all study related reports on project performance for both PI CCRO management and external stakeholders.

Bachelors Degree Related Field of Study required

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Excellent Organizational skills and communication skills.
- Assists with the training and supervision of Study Coordinators for assigned studies in their duties required for the writing of ancillary documents.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism and respect for subjects rights and individual needs and ability to maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and work cooperatively with peers.
