Job Summary

Manages the activities of the Nancy Renyhart Dementia Education Program and GUIDE dementia program services in accordance with the policies procedures and practices of the organization. Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dementia programs. Adheres to the strategic plans and budgeting plans as required. Responsible for growth and development of dementia programs event coordination collaborating with community partners and donors promoting fundraising campaigns and assisting with volunteer recruitment activities. Ensures adherence to GUIDE model guidelines and services as per contractual agreements.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reviews dementia programs both internally and across the state.
Contributes to the business plan and budget annually.
Plans organizes and manages the centers operations and programs.
Represents the center to the public and serves as the primary spokesperson.
Works with local officials and other organizations to help make our market a Dementia-Friendly community.
Represents the programs in the community by participating in local applicable organizations and sitting on boards as able.
Coordinates grant proposals and ensures all required reporting is done in a timely manner.
Ensures transparent measurement of financial programmatic and impact performance against stated milestones and goals.
Partners with Philanthropy to develop fundraising needs and programs and promotes campaigns throughout the community.
Ensures that services and funding relationships are robust enough to meet or exceed both strategic and financial goals and objectives.
Identifies engages leverages and cultivates community resources influence and connections to further dementia program initiatives.
Partners with Marketing to gain referrals and communicate programs to the community.
Works with the board volunteers and community partners to ensure that the mission is fulfilled through programs strategic planning and community outreach.
Facilitates the referral process working with designated agencies as needed.
Works a flexible schedule to include occasional nights and weekends to support events and community meetings.
Maintains organizational calendar of events and meetings.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Bachelors Degree in business or healthcare management marketing health services or related field required.
RN or LCSW licensure preferred
Post-Acute Care Dementia (PAC-DC) and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) certifications strongly preferred.
Three to five years of management experience preferably in a non-profit organization.
Transparent and high integrity leadership.
Must possess a passion for the centers mission.
High level strategic thinking and planning. Ability to envision and convey the centers strategic future to the staff board volunteers and donors.
Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally the centers and programs mission to donors volunteers and the overall community.
Strong financial management skills including budget preparation analysis decision making and reporting
Previous success in establishing relationships with individuals and organizations of influence including funders partner agencies and volunteers.
Strong written and oral communication skills and a strong public speaking ability.
Must have a Valid Florida Drivers License and maintain current auto insurance coverage.
Ability to operate a facsimile copy machines computers and other common office machines with working knowledge of MS Word Outlook Excel and other software appropriate to position.
Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures and governmental regulations as well as documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
