Ko tōu ake mahi - What youll do
As Senior Business Analyst you will play a central role in the Ministrys Service Transition Project this role you will engage with diverse stakeholders to understand and document business needs and translate them into actionable requirements. As a key liaison between business groups technical teams and the project you will own the business context and requirements throughout the service transition journey.
Build a comprehensive understanding of current systems identify pain points and anticipate upcoming changes across the Ministrys functions to support a seamless service transition.
Facilitating workshops interviews and process mapping sessions with cross-functional teams
Draft data migration requirements and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with the Snr Project Manager and Delivery Lead to plan the hardware roll out phases
Work closely with stakeholders to deliver process and system enhancements that enable successful participation in future projects.
Develop and document robust business requirements and processes ensuring new solutions address both immediate challenges and long-term needs.
Leading user acceptance testing (UAT) contribute to training material and support change management activities to support successful adoption of new solutions.

10 years of proven experience in business analysis with experience in working on projects delivering new infrastructure hardware roll out and data migration.
Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new areas of work understanding complex and unfamiliar concepts and environments.
Great communication and relationship management skills including the ability to:
bridge technical and non-technical discussions
translate business needs or requirements
produce high quality documentation.
A future focussed problem-solving and continuous development perspective with a passion for streamlining processes and creating efficiencies
Analytical and inquisitive mindset with a readiness to ask probing questions to reveal underlying issues and information.
Proven capability to work under pressure managing competing priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining resilience and focus.
