Division: Automobile Spares After Sales Services
Role Overview:
The Shift Incharge will be responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations during assigned shifts ensuring smooth execution of inbound outbound and inventory processes. This role supports the distribution of automobile spares across West India and requires hands-on coordination with internal teams and 3PL partners.
Youll be responsible for:
Supervising shift-wise operations including receiving put-away picking packing and dispatch.
Ensuring adherence to SOPs safety protocols and quality standards during shift activities.
Monitoring manpower deployment and productivity across warehouse zones.
Coordinating with transporters and customer service teams for timely dispatches.
Conducting shift handovers with proper documentation and operational updates.
Tracking and reporting shift KPIs such as order accuracy turnaround time and inventory variances.
Supporting periodic cycle counts and stock audits as per schedule.
Addressing operational issues and escalate critical concerns to Warehouse Manager.
Technical Skills & Systems:
Working knowledge of ERP systems: SAP and Oracle
Familiarity with external WMS platforms preferably Infor WMS
Basic understanding of warehouse compliance and documentation norms
Candidate Profile:
Minimum 46 years of experience in warehouse operations preferably in automobile spares or industrial parts.
Must have handled shift operations in a warehouse of at least 80000 sq. ft. ideally within a 3PL service provider setup.
Fluent in local language (Marathi/Hindi) and English; must be talkative and approachable.
Strong coordination problem-solving and team management skills.
Qualification:
Graduate / Diploma in Logistics Supply Chain or related field
Safety or warehouse operations certifications are a plus
