Job Summary

Are you confident adaptable and eager to gain classroom-based experience A successful Hertfordshire secondary school in Watford is looking for a Cover Supervisor to join their team from September.

School Information:
This school is warm structured and behaviour is consistently strong. Cover Supervisors are supported by department staff and leadership with real pathways into teaching for those looking to progress into a PGCE later.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Supervising classes in the absence of the classroom teacher

  • Following prepared lesson plans to maintain learning progress

  • Managing behaviour using established school policies

  • Supporting students with clarification feedback and task completion

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience working with young people desirable

  • Confident communicator

  • Calm consistent and positive character

Salary: Competitive (Term-time).
