Summary:
-
Deliver training to internal users on the use repair and maintenance of complex below-the-hook equipment and test devices (e.g. scales weights).
-
Use operational manuals and tooling drawings to ensure safe and proper equipment use.
-
Review internal customer equipment requirements and evaluate vendor products for compliance and capability.
-
Verify the structural integrity of purchased fabricated and repaired handling equipment to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
-
Provide guidance on proof-load integrity testing to less experienced Proofload Technicians.
-
Perform routine and complex scheduled Proofload (PL) procedures using weights scales and rigging in accordance with established procedures.
-
Increase safety reliability and regulatory compliance while reducing downtime and cost.
-
Recommend process and procedural improvements to internal organizations.
-
Perform operational inspections before and after proof-load tests to assess equipment condition.
-
Review documentation for proof-load tests inspections and maintenance activities for accuracy and schedule alignment before database entry.

Utilize various software systems (e.g. MES CMES Maximo/CRPMS Cribmaster) to review and verify tests work orders and data entries.
Requirements:

Typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and 4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associates degree 2 years related experience).

Ability to stand turn lift climb and operate factory support equipment
