We are seeking a visionary Executive Head of Solutions (Healthcare Actuary C Suite Level) to lead the development and implementation of a full integrated outcomes-based value proposition within the managed healthcare sector.
Sitting on EXCO reporting to the CEO this strategic leadership role is accountable for creating sustainable client-focused health solutions that improve clinical outcomes manage health risks and deliver measurable value.
The incumbent will oversee solution benefit design pricing provider network management incentivised wellness strategies and the monitoring and reporting of outcomes ensuring that more people gain access to quality health for less.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Represent solutions with key stakeholders demonstrating impact on client outcomes and scheme sustainability.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness profitability and sustainability of solutions.
- Conduct market competitor and industry research to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Drive transformation from transactional to outcomes-based value propositions.
- Collaborate across Marketing Operations IT and Actuarial teams to deliver innovative sustainable solutions.
- Lead the development and management of provider networks health risk strategies and incentivised wellness initiatives.
- Ensure health solution design health benefit design pricing and delivery align with client needs market competitiveness and overall health strategy.
- Design develop and implement an integrated outcomes-based client value proposition (CVP) for Health.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Honours degree in Actuarial Science (essential)
- Health Economics background
- Masters degree (advantageous)
- 810 years leadership experience managing large corporate teams
- Experience within managed care medical schemes or healthcare essential
- Extensive benefit design experience and pricing modelling experience within medical scheme environment essential
- Background as a product owner
