Job Description

Job Title -Electrical and Instrument Design Engineer

Experience - 8 - 15 Years

Location - Pune

Notice - Immediate to 15 days

Job Responsibilities

Acting as a discipline leadfor the project.
Developing project philosophy and design basis for their discipline.
Managing vendor and subcontracted engineering company engineering tasks in his domain of expertise.
Preparing technical requisitionand participating in vendor proposal technical evaluation.
Supporting I&C Equipment FATand Site Commissioning
Development ofinstrumentation engineering/design deliverables including Instrument Index Instrument Data Sheets Instrument Installation Details Instrument Location PlansWiring Diagrams Loop Diagrams MTOs Cable Trays and Cables Routing CableBlock Diagrams Cable Schedules etc.
Lead the team in the development of Technical Requisitions review bids make technical recommendations manage the technical interaction with vendors review I&C packages and review of vendor documentation.
Interface between the engineering and drafting teams for the integration and development ofproject deliverables.
Assist in and coordinate the development of internal design guidelines anddesign verificationprocedures.

Academic Qualifications

Proficient in English (speaking and writing)
Degree : Bachelor/Masters
Minimum 8 years of experience
Experience inoil and gasindustry is must

Skills Required

Knowledge and experience with Instrument Datasheets Logic Diagrams and IO countSystem Architecture Hook-up drawings vendor evaluation Equipment FAT & field commissioning support.
Equipment use in Hazardous area.
Fire and gas detection system.
API MPMS IEC 60079.
Knowledge of F&G detector and Instrument MTOs.
Understanding and performInstrumentationdatasheet index/schedule cable block diagram andinstrumentationhook-up drawings.
Perform review of overall controlsystem architecture.
Perform review ofcontrol panel& junction box construction and wiring.
Knowledge of hazardous classification specifications schedule and layouts.
PerformInstrumentationbid evaluation and vendor data review.
Strong knowledge ofinstrumentationandelectrical designcodes (ISA ANSI NEMA NEC API IEC ATEX etc.)
Site commissioning experience.
Familiar with LCI Management Systems (AvevaSPI Intools).
Experience and/or certifications in IECEx CoPCFunctional Safety.
InstrumentationSizing tools Navis 3D model review.
