The HR SOURCE is excited to partner with our client a prominent organization focused on non-profit and philanthropy solutions to find a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant. This position offers a temp-to-hire possibility for the right candidate.
The Administrative Assistant will provide crucial administrative support to the Partner Solutions operations team and its senior leaders. This role is essential for managing core operational functions and supporting all tasks necessary for successful non-profit operations. The position reports to an Associate Director within the Partner Solutions department.
Essential Responsibilities:
Partner Non-profit Board Support (30-50% of time)
- Schedule manage logistics and prepare materials for non-profit board meetings.
Office Administration (50-70% of time)
- Manage core operational functions for Partner Non-Profits.
- Sort and distribute daily mail in a timely manner.
- Promptly screen route and respond to inquiries via the "InfoBox".
- Schedule and manage document signature assignments and payment reviews for leadership.
- Ensure checks are processed and handled in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day issues and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Create maintain and enter information into databases as needed.
- Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of work experience relevant internship experience or a recent college graduate.
- High attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- A collaborative team-player attitude with the ability to work inclusively with diverse teams.
- Ability to use available resources and feedback to adapt and grow.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with administrative support and CRM database management.
- Familiarity with the fiscal sponsorship model.
- A desire to improve and appreciate efficient processes.
- Interest in philanthropy nonprofits or foundation operations
