This is a 362 Teamsters Union position. Full rate at $35.81/hour.

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Remove dirt paint grease debris and other built-up material from surfaces
• Set up and operate a blast pot spray pump or similar equipment
• Filling blast pots maintaining blasting equipment with repairs as needed
• Assist with painting spray application or brush & roll as needed
• Problem solving in real time and trouble shooting various equipment
• Completes all required paperwork;
• Performing field level risk assessments;
• Attends daily safety meetings;
• Working as a part of a team with customers coworkers & supervisors;
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management.

• Class 5 Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract required; Class 3 would be an asset.
• Minimum of 2-years working within abrasive blasting setting; Familiarity with mobile blast equipment power tools & safe operating procedures
• Experience working in the oilsands an asset
• Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day;
• Able to work at heights ability to work from JLG & crane with man basket is a must.
• Valid First Aid H2S Alive and CSO certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day). Training can be arranged.
• Working under minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
• Ability to work day & night shift on a 14/14 shift rotation.
• Capable of working outside in various weather conditions.
