About The Opportunity
As a Senior Alastri Product Specialist you will operate at the technical forefront of Micromines next-generation mine planning and scheduling platform.
Being the largest and fastest-growing region of Micromine this role will put you at the forefront of technical support for Micromine Alastri customers whilst also assisting with client training and product development.
- Reporting to the Principal of the team your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing Level 2 and 3 support for customers to solve complex mining engineer problems.
- Delivering training courses for clients as needed (face-to-face and online).
- Providing technical support for Micromines global network of personnel and partners.
- Work closely with the development team providing feedback on new features and assessing impacts on support procedures and documentation.
About You
You are an experienced mining engineer passionate about technology optimisation and lifting capability across the industry. You thrive at the intersection of advanced software and real-world mining operations.
Other key skills experience and qualifications:
- Experienced in mine planning scheduling or production engineering (open-pit preferred)
- Strong hands-on experience with mine scheduling tools (Alastri highly advantageous)
- Proven technical problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to train coach and engage technical audiences
- Passion for innovation optimisation and digital mining solutions
