Primary Responsibilities:
Safe Forklift Operation including loading materials on trucks.
Perform material fulfillment and movement operations for production operations.
Support material transfer operations of finished goods to warehouse.
Support of incoming and outgoing goods
Ensure that flow of products is consistent and service is faultless by insuring incoming goods are stored in proper locations.
Receive/Unload product delivery trucks at receiving dock without damage and ensure they are properly stored in their designated locations.
Maintain accurate shipping documents and receiving receipts.
Collects information for damaged claims and communicates those damages to Supervisor.
Maintain good housekeeping in warehouse so floor is clean at all times.
Optimize space by ensuring that everything is in its place.
Participating in Accident/Incident Investigation
Report any spills or Hazards to Supervisor
Report any safety issues to Supervisor.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Certified industrial lift truck operator
Above average computer competency and math skills
Good communicator verbally and in writing
Experience:
Experience in an industrial environment.
Experience with ERP-knowledge of Infor a plus.
Experience in a fast-paced Team oriented environment.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Represent UMS a professional positive and enthusiastic manner in all matters.
Comply with occupational safety regulations.
Work in shifts and overtime as required.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
