Job Summary
General Laborer / Forklift Operator
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and experienced General Laborers and Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team. This role supports daily shipping receiving and material handling operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. Ideal candidates will have experience operating heavy equipment performing order picking and following OSHA safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse distribution or construction experience.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload materials using forklifts clamp trucks pallet jacks RF scanners and other material-handling equipment
Perform order picking and order fulfillment accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS)
Safely operate cranes and other heavy machinery in compliance with OSHA regulations
Assist with shipping and receiving processes including proper documentation and product handling
Perform material handling tasks such as heavy lifting stacking and organizing inventory
Support inventory management cycle counting and quality control activities
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety and mechanical standards
Assist warehouse supervisors and team members with daily operational needs
Requirements
Prior experience in warehouse distribution shipping & receiving or construction required
Forklift operation experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse and heavy equipment operations
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods
Experience using RF scanners order pickers pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Warehouse lead or supervisory experience is a plus
