Provides technical consultation and strategic direction to the workforce project teams and leadership on a wide range of Health Safety and Environmental issues spanning the life cycle of company assets. Collaborates with employees leaders and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements manage risk and assure safeguards are in place and functioning. HSE Specialist Incident Investigation & Reporting (II&R) serves as a HSE advisor covering II&R process Learning Team (LT) Human Performance (HP) and HSE campaign.
Key Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Ensure effectiveness of implementation and sustainability of II&R process Learning Teams (LT) and Human Performance (HP).
Provide expertise and ensure quality Incident Investigation and actions close out.
Be point of contact for managing serious incidents and ensure proper notification (including to government agencies).
Share internal and external learning locally and enterprise wide.
Issue bulletin action to enterprise and ensure bulletin actions received are closed timely.
Support II&R/LT/HP training requirements conduct quality reviews.
Have in-depth knowledge of Chevron Operational Excellence Data Reporting Standard (OEDRS) which defines consistent requirements for collecting classifying and reporting OE performance data across Chevron and incident classification.
Analyze incident trend and safeguard gaps and provide recommendations to HSE TLs/manager and/or functional leaders.
Engage with enterprise LT/HP community and provide recommendation and direction to HSE manger/OEET.
Reports to Team Lead HSE OE Execution.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in HSE related fields in Engineering Science Environment Occupational Health and Safety
Certified Safety Professional is preferable
Extensive HSE professional experiences in oil and gas industry
Relocation Options:
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
