Public Area Attendant (Full-time)

Our resort is grand and our people are exceptional. As a Public Area Attendant you play an essential role in creating a clean comfortable and welcoming atmosphere throughout our resort including public areas restrooms Heart of the House spaces and offices.

Hourly Rate:  $25.63

What you will be doing:

• Perform daily cleaning as well as occasional projects that promote overall cleanliness and maintenance in the designated area(s) according to the Hotel standards. This involves vacuuming/mopping floors refreshing garbage receptacles cleaning bathrooms window washing dusting polishing replenishing amenities furniture moving and special projects as assigned.
• Organize time so all side work is completed according to shift demand
• Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any malfunctioning equipment
• Maintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging personalized timely and efficient service to our discerning guests
• Ensure that overall cleanliness and maintenance of our resort exceeds expectations
• Clean maintain and sanitize all equipment issued during and prior to the completion of shift

Schedule:  Due to the nature of the hospitality industry employees are required to work varying schedules including overnight weekends and holidays to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel. 

Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include:

• Warm and caring personality; previous experience in housekeeping janitorial or custodial roles preferred; hospitality experience a plus
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs being professional and welcoming
• Must have manual dexterity to be able to carry out essential functions operate housekeeping devices and other cleaning equipment as needed
• Frequent walking and standing throughout shift
• Must be able to stand walk bend lift push and carry up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
