Information Sciences is seeking a Senior Specialist Data Analyst with excellent communications skills and a passion for healthcare and technology. Under the direction of the group lead the candidate will leverage strong analytical skills to support the R&D efforts on the Insider Risk/Trade Secret (IR/TS) program. The position requires exceptional attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. The candidate will be instrumental in identifying opportunities to streamline and optimize and then maintain the process. An innate curiosity and a strong desire to learn is required. As a key member of a team the candidate will support the high quality and reliable operation of IR/TS program.

Primary Activities:

The primary activities include but are not limited to:

  • Support the day-to-day activities for the program

  • Contribute to asset identification

  • Support the maintenance and lifecycle tracking of assets

  • Support internal and external monitoring strategies

  • Perform data analysis to derive insight and identify potential opportunities for the organization

  • Deliver routine metrics to leadership to provide insight about activities their organization

  • Analyze large datasets that support pivotal conversations such as those with leadership

  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure security controls are functioning properly

  • Support the roll-out of new technology including pressure testing solutions access impact on day-to-day operations

  • Support outreach and awareness and training

  • Monitor and improve data quality completeness and consistency

  • Support projects by tracking progress toward goals

  • Contribute to documentation

  • Strong commitment to compliance and ethical standards in data handling and analysis

Skills:

Education/Experience

  • Degree in a scientific data science or mathematical discipline plus experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry:

  • Bachelors and 5 years

  • Masters/PhD and 3 years

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to analyze large datasets and derive insights and anomalies

  • identifying opportunities to optimize and maintain processes for various programs

  • Experience using programming languages such as Python or R and proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation

  • Experience with creating data visualizations (PowerBI etc.)

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to manage competing timelines and priorities

  • Strong commitment to compliance and ethical standards in data handling and analysis

  • Awareness of the tools relevant to data loss prevention

  • Experience managing testing and documenting

  • Continuous improvement mindset

Preferred

  • Experiences with leveraging AI

  • Experiences with automation using tools such as Power Automate

  • Experience with data loss prevention and protection strategies and tools

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is

$114700.00 - $180500.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employees position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills geographic location government requirements and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive if applicable.
