About the Department:
The DT faculty includes teachers across Product Design Engineering and Textiles. They pride themselves on collaborative planning practical learning and safety excellence. Technicians are key members of the team and receive training in new technologies such as 3D printing and laser cutting.
Responsibilities:
Prepare materials and tools for DT lessons.
Maintain and repair workshop machinery.
Support classroom practicals and demonstrations.
Monitor stock levels and order consumables.
Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
Background in DT Engineering or a related technical field.
Strong practical and mechanical aptitude.
Knowledge of H&S risk assessments and COSHH.
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
