Job Summary

Were looking for a PrivX Principal Architect to lead the architecture and technical direction within SSHs PrivX platform and related secure-access products.

As a PrivX Principal Architect youll lead the server-side architecture and backend component design for PrivX. Youll own the technology roadmap for your area design component and API interactions and guide the implementation of scalable secure solutions. Working hands-on with developers product managers and customers youll turn requirements into well-structured maintainable systems that align with the platforms overall vision.

You will be part of our PrivX suite R&D team focusing on elements like zero configuration between client and server controlling non-human identities and the communication model between client and server. PrivX is already a well-established product but these upcoming expansions give you the opportunity to step in at an early design stage and help lead the design in the desired direction.

Your responsibilities:

Build and maintain the technical roadmap for your modules and features
Design and document architectural principles API flows and component hierarchies
Participate in customer technical discussions and feed insights back into product development
Write and review code to guide quality performance and best practices
Improve development tools processes and standards to enhance efficiency and consistency
Communicate architectural vision clearly across teams and explain design choices to partners and customers.

What we are looking for:

Proven experience in secure access and privileged access management across complex enterprise systems.
Strong grasp of microservices APIs cloud platforms and networking
Experience with Go Python or C/C and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS Azure Kubernetes Docker)
Hands-on approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to balance strategic vision with practical incremental delivery
Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
