Job Summary

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Staff to join their growing team. With a new store opening in Somerset Westthey are looking for experienced individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Job Type: Full Time/Permanent

Location: Somerset West Cape Town

Work Place: Onsite

Working hours: Somerset Mall is open from 9am 7pm Monday to Saturday and 9am 5pm on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Candidates are required to work 24 shifts per month. They will alternate with each other and work different shifts daily.

Requirements

Bilingual in Afrikaans and English (both spoken and written).
Minimum 5 years of retail experience.
Supervisory or management experience will be a strong advantage.
Someone who demonstrate reliability and professionalism.
Must be available to work shifts weekends and public holidays.
Candidates should be able to start immediately or by 20 November 2025 (Somerset West).

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive in-store experience.
Assist customers with product selection sales transactions and after-sales support.
Maintain store presentation cleanliness and product displays.
Handle point-of-sale operations accurately and efficiently.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
Contribute to achieving monthly sales targets.
Support the Store Supervisor or Manager in daily operations.
