Job Summary

Clinical Registered Dietitian Position - Part-Time/Hybrid

Overview: RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is excited to offer an opportunity for a Clinical Registered Dietitian to join our team. This role allows flexibility and a balanced blend of in-person and remote work ensuring our patients receive the best care while our team enjoys a work-life harmony.

Schedule: 5-6hrs/ week 75% remote via telehealth

Flexibility: Choose your days and hours. Only 1-2 onsite visit required per month remaining hours are completed remotely via telehealth.

Compensation: $30.00-$36.00 per hour based on experience

Travel Reimbursement: Paid at the same hourly rate for time traveling to and from the facility

Mileage Reimbursement: Paid at the current federal mileage rate

Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred)
Bachelors degree majoring in food and nutrition
Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state)
Registered with the Commission on Dietetics Registration
Familiarity with state survey processes and adhering to nutrition care regulations
Competency in electronic charting systems

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents and patients
Offer specialized support for tube feedings
Deliver nutritional counseling and educational sessions for residents and their families
Ensure compliance with DOH/state/federal regulations and uphold company standards
Work autonomously without the need for regular training or direction

Desired Skills:

Clinical Expertise: Ability to apply MNT to develop personalized nutrition plans for patients with various conditions.
Assessment & Planning: Nutritional assessments individualized care plans collaboration with healthcare team.
Communication & Relationships: Patient education diverse populations building rapport with residents and staff.
Additional Skills: Food service regulations EHR proficiency quality improvement (consider adding research wound care or dysphagia management as desired).
