- Design develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts to identify software defects and issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop effective testing strategies
- Perform manual and automated testing on various software applications and systems
- Analyze test results document findings and report bugs to development teams
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve overall software quality
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to increase testing efficiency
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality
- Monitor and analyze system performance to identify potential issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging testing technologies
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and processes
- Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. Selenium Python Java)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and software development lifecycle
- Experience with performance testing and security testing is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adapt to new technologies and methodologies
