Job Summary
Your Tasks
- Support for the development and maintenance of backend services using NestJS and TypeScript
- Collaboration with existing MongoDB schemas and exposure to optimization techniques for large datasets
- Implementation of features for REST and GraphQL APIs as well as background workers using BullMQ in cooperation with senior engineers
- Participation across the full software development lifecycle including coding testing and deployment
- Creation of unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and quality
- Exposure to architectural decision-making and cross-system integrations through close team collaboration
- Cross-functional collaboration with engineering and product teams including early communication of progress and potential blockers
- Active participation in code reviews to promote best practices and continuous skill improvement
Your Profile
- Initial practical experience (e.g. internships university projects or personal projects) with TypeScript and
- Basic knowledge of or strong interest in NestJS
- Understanding of database fundamentals with experience in MongoDB or other NoSQL databases considered an advantage
- Strong learning motivation problem-solving mindset and focus on clean maintainable code
- Awareness of the importance of testing and commitment to high-quality engineering standards
- Basic understanding of API concepts including REST and GraphQL
- Interest in modern infrastructure and tooling such as CI/CD pipelines Kubernetes and Docker
- Bonus: Introductory experience with frontend development using React or
