Unit Manager Residential Care Unit 32000 Full-Time Days

What Were Looking For:

  • Minimum Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
  • Proven experience in a care home or nursing home environment ideally in a supervisory or senior care role.
  • Strong understanding of CQC standards safeguarding and best practices in residential care.
  • Excellent communication leadership and organisational skills.
  • Empathetic patient and confident in leading by example in a fast-paced care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the residential unit ensuring residents safety comfort and wellbeing.
  • Lead motivate and support care assistants and support staff to deliver high-quality person-centred care.
  • Conduct and oversee assessments care plan reviews and ensure care delivery aligns with individual needs.
  • Build trusted relationships with residents families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Monitor care standards and compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation risk assessments and care records.
  • Promote a positive inclusive and welcoming environment for residents families and staff alike.
