The Senior Business Analyst plays a key role in the ANZ FP&A team acting as a business partner to ANZs Business Lines and Support Functions and working closely with ANZs Finance Teams.
How youll make a difference
- Playing a key role in supporting the annual plan and the monthly close/outlook & pipeline processes and monitoring the quality and integrity of data across our financial systems.
- Utilise business intelligence tools to provide the most efficient platform to produce one version of the truth reporting and analysis presented in the most value adding formats
- Assist with monthly reporting and commentary on actuals capturing key variances trends and risks/opportunities.
- Support the FP&A Director through provision of ad-hoc analysis including effective presentation of data and insightful commentary and recommendations.
- Monthly review of ANZs pipeline sources balances and activity for quality and accuracy along with the provision of analysis/commentary capturing key wins bookings and adjustments.
- Analyse end-to-end business processes to identify automation opportunities using AI RPA and machine learning technologies.
- Develop process maps requirements and documentation for automation initiatives
Qualifications :

- Accounting/Commerce/Finance degree or similar
- Previous experience with ERP COGNOS/TM1 Power BI
- Previous experience with AI-powered automation and RPA tools (UiPath Blue Prism Automation Anywhere Power Automate etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and present financial information across a range of business areas in a manner which ensures that key messages are clear and readily understood by managers with both financial and non- financial backgrounds
- Previous experience in a business analyst or finance partnering role with demonstrated experience developing relationships with operational leaders (and other internal/external clients) and influencing business decisions and outcomes
