Inspector Motueka

Are you passionate about horticulture and ready to grow your career as an Inspector/ Auditor at SGS Were looking for a motivated Inspector to join our team in Motueka servicing the wider Tasman region.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a Level 4 National Certificate in Horticulture (or related discipline) some hands-on experience and a genuine interest in horticulture inspections. Full training will be provided so if youre eager to learn and make an impact wed love to hear from you!

What Youll Be Doing:

• Assist with planning and conducting inspection activities.
• Support phytosanitary inspections & endpoint certifications
• Advance towards  GlobalG.A.P. auditor Certification
• Ensure inspection documentation is clear accurate and completed on time.
• Take part in training programmes and assessments to build technical knowledge.
• Administration tasks .
• Deliver excellent customer service to support and grow our services

Qualifications :

• Level 4 National Certificate in Horticulture or related discipline (required).
• Experience in agricultural product inspections is advantageous.
• Management Systems Lead Auditor qualifications (e.g. IRCA) are a bonus.
• Relevant Food Safety Internal Auditing and HACCP qualifications are desirable.
• Ability to understand and apply quality assurance procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word Excel Outlook and basic database management.
• Current and unrestricted NZ drivers licence.
• Must be based in Motueka or nearby within the Tasman region.
• Willingness to travel within the region and occasionally outside it
